1. Acceptance
By accessing staysync.tech ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
2. Purpose of the Site
The Site is a pre-launch page for the Stay Sync smart ring, a wearable device for personal safety. The Site allows you to:
- Subscribe to our pre-launch newsletter.
- Vote for your preferred ring finish.
- Optionally pre-reserve the product for €1 to lock the Early Bird price for the upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
The Stay Sync ring is not yet on sale. Sales will be conducted exclusively through the official Kickstarter campaign.
3. €1 Pre-Reserve Program
The €1 pre-reservation is governed by the following terms:
- Nature — A €1 payment that secures your spot in the Early Bird tier of our upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
- Not a sale — The €1 is not a purchase of the product. It is a goodwill deposit to demonstrate intent and reserve a discounted price.
- Refundable — If the Kickstarter campaign does not reach its funding goal, the €1 will be fully refunded.
- Conversion — At the launch of the Kickstarter campaign, you will receive a private link to a hidden reward tier reflecting your locked-in price. You remain free to complete or not complete the pledge on Kickstarter.
- Right of withdrawal — As an EU consumer, you may request a refund of the €1 within 14 days of payment by writing to info@staysync.tech.
The €1 pre-reserve is processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
4. Newsletter
By submitting your email you consent to receive marketing communications about Stay Sync. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any email, with no explanation required.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including the Stay Sync name, the SYS monogram, logos, copy, photography, videos, 3D assets, and the design of the ring itself — is the exclusive property of Stay Sync and protected by intellectual property law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or use any of these materials for commercial purposes without our prior written authorization.
6. Product information
Visuals, renderings, technical specifications and feature descriptions are provided for pre-launch communication and may evolve before the production version. Final specifications will be confirmed at the launch of the Kickstarter campaign.
The Stay Sync ring is a personal safety accessory, not a medical device. It does not replace emergency services or medical equipment. Always call local emergency numbers in a life-threatening situation.
7. Limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Italian law, Stay Sync shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers (hosting, payment, email).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for damages that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.
8. Third-party links
The Site contains links to third-party services (Stripe, Klaviyo, Instagram, TikTok, Kickstarter). We are not responsible for the content or terms of those third parties.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. For consumer disputes, the court of the consumer's place of residence within the EU shall have jurisdiction, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. For non-consumer disputes, the exclusive jurisdiction shall be the court of Bologna, Italy.
EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
